Battery Monitor: Health, Info App Reviews
I find this application to be very reliable and easy to use. I also would like to add that I find the IOS 7 esque UI very attracrive and clean. The only downside is that it asks you sometimes for a rate on the AppStore but, I don’t mind it enough to lose a star in my rating.
The well-designed display clearly communicates everything needed - full capacity, current capacity, time to full charge, time left on battery, and more. The time estimates are often fairly accurate, allowing for the fact that changing how the computer is being used can of course change power requirements and time remaining. Good app.
A Leung
Very helpful and simple to use.
Really great app
This app is really great. Clean and elegant. 5 stars
Good
It works well, does the job it claims to
I downloaded Battery Diag after upgrading to Yosemite but it crashed repeatedly instead of opening. Eventually I tried unplugging the USB cable that monitors my APC UPSs battery status & could then open Battery Diag, but when I plugged the UPS monitoring cable back in Battery Diag immediately crashed. So all that Battery Diag gives me is a prettier view of my Macs battery status (which I can already see in the Menu Bar), but at the loss of any info about the status of the UPS battery.
Was looking for a battery temperature monitor when I found this tool. Unfortunately it’s inaccurate, always hovering around 30 Celsius whether it’s actually 24 or 40. Using a 15” early ’08 macbook pro, running mavricks 10.9.5, so maybe your mileage varies by model… coconutBattery (not on App Store) is accurate in comparison though.
It give you all the accurate infos that Apple already give you, but in a form very user friendly, I keep it permanently in my menu bar instead of the OSX battery display. It is passive but more usefull, rather to be told to unplug or plug when it is not pratical (unless you do not move your Laptop at all). Thanks for this great app, now I can see in details if my usage maintain my battery healty with no surprise.
Battery Diag.
Forget it. It doesn’t work.
I check it often
Since I’ve had my mac, this was one of the first apps that I downloaded! I invested in my mac and I want to make sure that it last!
Stupid Icon
The new Icon is stupid, it doesn’t differentiate from the actual Apple icon. I like to keep the actual apple icon too.
Annoying app
Annoying - asks you to subscribe to newsletter, rate it, etc
Great app! Does what it says it will do unobtrusively. Especially happy with the low battery alarm. Very useful because now my MBP doesn’t just power off when i forget i’m not plugged in. Thanks for a great little utility app.
all good
easy to use.
The new options to be warned when the battery is fully charged the way it warns when the battery is low on energy is wonderful, thank you very much for that. For me it’s a simple app but it does exactly what I need it to do.
Great
does what it’s made for
Good application that does what it’s intended to to, i.e. provide with with accurate information about your battery (low, full, number of cycles, etc.). I also recomment Memory Monitor which is the best app to manage your RAM.
Great work but needing one more feature to give five stars - Show what apps are using the most battery. I would up this ti a five star if this option was added. Keep up the great work!
I like the app, but I dont like the annoying pop-up to tell me to rate it in App Store. If I want to rate it, I will, but when Im half-forced to do so, the review is going to be 1 star. Please stop this annoying habit of reminding to rate.
