Short review here … Battery Monitor saved me a lot of aggravation and told me my Mac Book’s battery was at end end of its lifecycle, though Apple’s charge monitor was not inficating this. THANK YOU ROCKY SANDS !!! — KDC

hope next version have update for have option charge cycle show check, for know clearly about how much you have used for cycle charge now?

I like everything about this app except that one feature is missing. I’m coming from a Linux background so I’m used to lots of configuration options. One that I’m really missing in Mac OS X (and hoped to find in this app) is the ability to set the triggers for low battery alerts and corresponding actions (dim screen, hibernate, sleep, shutdown, etc.). It could be that Mac OS X is just not as configurable as Linux, but it would be nice if I could at least set alerts to pop up at various percentage levels, e.g., 20%, 10%, 5%.

I only use it for checking battery cycles. rest it is a good app with clean UI and for most part gets out of your way.

It’s unobtrusive, and when you click on the battery icon, it tells you everything you could want to know about your battery life. Battery health, cycles used, capacity (mine’s at 86% of original capacity), and remaining time (if you don’t have that showing in the upper bar). Great app! Their Memory Monitor is fantastic as well, it’s a one-click speed-up that I use all the time.

Works as expected. Very happy with it. Only had it for five minutes but works good.

Vey happy with it. It helped me to figure out defective replcement battery. It won’t fully charge.

Clear and concise performance readings. Simple and easy to use. I would purchase it again.

The only missing feature is to also mimic OS X’s abilty to let you know which app is the one that is using significant energy. If that’s available as well, I would be able to fully remove the default battery icon from the menu bar!

Well done. Nice and neat app. it is very easy to use and a perfect gadget for my laptop. I personally love the time feature, it showes you how much time you have left.

Excellent App to monitor the battery.

I just got this, and it looks great, (like the iOS design) and it seems like it might help me understand my battery more! But one small improvment would be to explain what some of these things are used for and what i should do? Like the “capacity”, should I charge it until it’s to that percentage? What are the “cycles”? And why is there a n/a to the health? If these are already there, i’m sorry. ‘;) But otherwise, it’s great! 5 stars are worth it!

I like the option to receive notifications when the battery is low and when it’s done charging. I have a terrible problem with over-charging my battery. It’s amazing I haven’t depleted it fully yet. Anyway, you can set at what battery percentage you want a notification. Previously, I used to just let my computer charge even after it reached 100%. But after I learned the dangers of over-charging, this application came in very handy. Now, every time it hits 90%, I get an alert, and I remove the charging cable. It’s nice. Hopefully, it’ll save my battery in the long run.

It works well for me. I appreciate knowing the capacity of my battery. Seeing how low it was gave me the evidence I needed to buy a new one.

The best feature about this app is when it reminds me that my battery is running low. It saved me many times when I used an Apple Display that has that really bad power safe adapter that keeps disconnecting (not physically, just electrically). But also sometimes I forgot to reconnect it to power. It is also nice to see how old your battery is getting.

I can’t count how many times my battery has zeroed out in my face while I’ve been absorbed in my work, but no more since Ive configured a notifications alert with this awesome app! Also, I didn’t realize until I read one of the reviews for this app that I had been damaging my battery with overcharges, so the "fully charged" alert is a benefit bonus beyond what I was looking for. Plus, the support is responsive. Another battery monitor I was using does not have alerts with notifications, and in my research I didn’t see another monitor app that does, nor did I see highly starred reviews for other moniter apps as numerous as for this one. Far as I’m concerned, this app sets the standard. Thank you Rocky Sand Studio.
